The said Robert Barnby of the parish of St Margaret's, Walmgate, Cordwainer, and Martha Lund of this parish, spinster were married in this church by Banns this thirteenth day of May 1771 by me, James Rudd, offic. Minister."
      Robert signed his name and Martha made her mark. Witnesses James Reid, Ann Spansforth (both signed their names)
